Today, the National Cyber Security Centre has published version 2.0 of the NCSC's guidance on Mitigating malware and ransomware.
The last update was published in February and over the last six months, there has been an unprecedented change in the way people live and work, with more time being spent online than ever before.
Knowledge like this, which is acquired from the ‘cyber frontline’, is invaluable and informs the guidance that is published. This is why we've updated the mitigating malware and ransomware guidance; to ensure that it reflects the changing nature of the incidents we are dealing with.
The guidance still helps organisations manage the threat posed by malware and ransomware, you can find the full guidance here.
