Introducing The Development Manager – The Newest Community Ambassador to join WMCRC

We’re excited to introduce our newest member to WMCRC – The Development Manager.

The Development Manager (TDM) is a tech and digital training and coaching provider, specialising in the delivery of local and national government-funded Skills Bootcamps Programmes, Career-Entry Apprenticeships and BSc (Hons) Degree Apprenticeships, across the West Midlands and beyond.

TDM is committed to supporting employers to digitally transform and workforce plan, through bespoke, individualised learning plans, developing the skills of employees in IT Infrastructure and Networks, Software, Cyber, Marketing, Digital Support, Data and Tech solutions.

Through its range of programmes, TDM seeks to improve the social mobility of West Midlands residents and beyond, providing progression pathways to embed tech and digital careers.

TDM is also a Totara Talent Experience Platform Partner (this is the second most used Corporate Learning Management system worldwide) and can support organisations harness knowledge management and learning & development.

As a government-funded and employer responsive educational organisation, their vision is to help our regions’ employer organisations to improve their talent experience and galvanise digital transformation for now, and the future.

On joining the WMCRC, MD and Director of Studies, Derrin Kent said:

‌ "Cyber Resilience is an ongoing process, not a single step. What a privilege it is for TDM to join The Cyber Resilience Centre for the West Midlands and be able to help organisations to become increasingly cyber resilient as they progress employees through Cyber Security Level 4 and Degree Level Cyber solutions professional Apprenticeship programmes."

‌

"An Apprenticeship is a cumulative aggregation of courses and learning points, which manifest in a coached and audited assessment in work-based practise. You won't become a cyber resilient organisation overnight, because genuinely work-based learning matters. Use TDM Apprenticeships to continuously improve your cyber resilience! We can't wait to get started!"

Michelle Ohren, Director at the WMCRC said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome The Development Manager (TDM) to our community. With their expertise in tech and digital training and coaching, we are confident they will be an invaluable addition. We look forward to collaborating closely with them.”
