Introducing SCC – the newest Affiliate member to join WMCRC

We’re thrilled to introduce SCC as the latest Affiliate member of our network, adding their technological knowledge and experience to our collective resource pool.

SCC has industry-leading technology partnerships and specialised knowledge spanning 45 years of working with the UK’s largest public sector and commercial sector organisations. Their Cyber Security business unit is driven by a team of dedicated experts in the field of information and cyber security including over 50 analysts, architects and security professionals. They support the full client lifecycle from initial contact through to delivery from their next generation Security Operations Centre (SOC).

Practice Director of Cyber Security, Paul Allen says:

"We joined the West Midlands CRC to better understand and support our local community. The WMCRC is there to support local interests, specifically aimed at smaller to medium sized organisations. Joining this group is a natural way to achieve regional outreach and support the CRC in delivering impartial guidance for cyber security best practice. Furthering our mission to create cyber confidence.”

Vanessa Eyles, Director of WMCRC, said:

“We are really excited to welcome SCC onboard. With their wealth of IT and cyber security knowledge, partnerships and contacts within the cyber resilience industry, we’re confident that they’ll make an excellent addition to our community.”
