Introducing Nick – the newest team member to join WMCRC

We’re thrilled to welcome Nick to the WMCRC team! With an impressive background spanning over a decade in forensic investigation and digital forensics at West Midlands Police, Nick brings invaluable expertise and dedication to our mission.

Nick’s career began with forensic evidence discovery, working hands-on at crime scenes and within the Fingerprint Development Laboratory to uncover critical evidence. He later expanded his focus to Digital Forensics, specializing in data extraction from mobile devices to aid in criminal investigations. Beyond his police work, Nick’s digital forensic expertise has been in high demand across the private sector, where he has supported police forces, government agencies, and private clients alike. His work for both Prosecution and Defence teams underscores his commitment to precise and balanced digital evidence analysis.

Outside of his professional life, Nick is a devoted family man. He loves cheering on his daughter at cheerleading competitions and equestrian events, while also being a regular at his son’s rugby matches. His passion for sports and cars, coupled with his family dedication, reflects the balanced approach he brings to his work and life.

Michelle Ohren, Managing Director at WMCRC said:

“I am incredibly pleased to welcome Nick to the WMCRC Network. His proven expertise in forensics and extensive experience in both public and private sectors make him a fantastic addition to the team.
